From Past to Past was my fifth album of "Berlin School" music released on the Spheric Music label in 2015.
The version available today, in its downloadable digital form, offers a fresh experience thanks to subtle but audible changes. Tracks have been deleted and new ones played, with the aim of producing a sound both airier and more powerful than that of the original disc.

From Past to Past illustrates how progressive and electronic music from the 70s remains a source of inspiration. My intention in 2015 was to return to the principle of long, sequence-based pieces with an analog, evolving sound, although the main programming on that album was created using digital instruments.

It is interesting to delve into this From Past To Past 2024 version with its redefined contours, at a time when the new album Echo Of A Distant Time, composed from sequences improvised on instruments similar to those I used in 1981, complements my other Berlin School productions.
